Agrippina was murdered by her own son Nero. After many tries Nero finally got what he wanted, which was he to be dead. Nero's reason why he wanted his mother dead was because she was telling him how to rule since he was only 17 and he felt she was overbearing. He also felt like he was sharing his power with his mom. He didn't want him mom telling him how to run the empire.
She was married twice. Once to Gnaeus Domitus Athenoborbus, which was who she had Nero with. In 49 B.C she married her uncle Claudius, who is also an emperor.Agrippina has Claudius adopt Nero as his own son so that when he dies Nero could be the next emperor, but what he didn't know was they had a plan to kill him.
Agrppina was apart of the plot to murder Claudius. She had poisoned him with poisness mushrooms for Nero to become emperor. Part of the pliot was to be the Emperor of The Roman Empire by tricking Claudius. They had tricked him by having him adopt Nero so they could murder him and they could take the control. since Nero was only 17 they wanted him to go get schooling on how to become the emperor and how to be a good one before he took the thrown. So his mother was his regent since she was really involed with the government they thought she would be the perfect regent.Nero did not like that his mother was telling him what his mom telling him how to run the empire so he planned to murder her. She was mad so she planned to kill him as well but he beat her to it.
I think future students should learn about Agrippina because it shows that girls can have control and some of the same rights and do some thing guys do. For example, the emperors were all guys and then Agrippina was a girl regent for her son and usually they pick an older relative that is a man that was either in the government,or has been in the army, but Agrippina was so involed in the government they let her be the regent.
